ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) -- Daniel H. Foster, 81, of Attica Route 4, died at Community Hospital in Williamsport at 8 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 15, 1972). He had been a patient since Jan. 24 and had been ill a month. Born in Attica Feb. 13, 1891, he was the son of Daniel Newton and Harriet Fagg Foster. He married Vera Dunkelbarger in Newtown July 26, 1914, who survives. A life resident of Shawnee Township, he attended the Rob Roy School and retired from farming in 1958. He was a member of the Attica Presbyterian Church and Eagles Lodge 2596. Other survivors include three sons, D. Robert of Rural Boswell and Max and Wayne, both of Attica Route 4; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Harriet) Ford of Attica Route 4, Mrs. Virgil (Martha) Meyer of Whittier, Calif., and Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Lewsader of Covington; a brother, Ralph of Decatur, Ill.; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Roy, three sisters and two brothers. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Friday at the Attica Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Vernon Seaton and the Rev. Karl Kordel officiating. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery south of Attica. Friends will be received at the Maus Funeral Home from 3-5 and 6:30-9 p.m. Thursday. Eagle memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family requests that memorials be in the form of contributions to a fund at the Williamsport Community Hospital.  --typed by Walt W
